Description:
This restoration project will restore 2,170 lineal feet of straightened and denuded channel into a natural creek while still providing flood protection. This project is the second phase of a three phase project. The new alignment will allow the creek channel to have greater water retention during high flows. There will be in-stream structures and pools installed to enhance aquatic life such as boulders, boulder weirs, and over 1,000 native trees, shrubs and grasses. Project limits are from Victoria Drive downstream to Boron Avenue.
