Description:
Reservoir 9A was erected in 1977 & Reservoir 16 in 1994. West Yost Associates completed a safety, security, & code evaluation on the reservoirs. To bring up to code improvements were recommended. The scope of work incl. improvements to the tank foundations (incl. foundation reinforcing steel & additional anchorage embedment), additional shell courses raising the R16 roof by approximately 5' 9" & R9A roof by approx 8'-11", replacement of the interior center support columns, removal & replacement of interior & exterior coatings (changing exterior color from dark green to tan), and lighting (incl. exterior lighting) & electrical improvements. Water pump stations S16 & S17 will add 1,500 gpm high-flow pumps, VFDs, & building upgrades to improve firefighting capabilities and redundancy.
Winter 2026: 75% Plans and Specs have been submitted and are under review. This project is very tentatively scheduled to advertise for bids approximately 3 months prior to the "Estimated Construction Schedule" begin date shown above. |
