Description:
Repair three fire-damaged pedestrian bridges:
1) Francis Nielsen Park Bridge, 35' x 6' foot wide wooden pedestrian bridge
2) Parker Hill Road Bridge north, 40' x 7' steel pedestrian bridge with wooden deck
3) Parker Hill Road Bridge south, 40' x 7' steel pedestrian bridge with wooden deck
Construction Details: The burnt decks on two pedestrian bridges along Parker Hill Rd have been repaired. The bridge access has been opened to public as of 6/14/2019. The pedestrian bridge in Francis Nielsen Park was removed and replaced with a new bridge made of different materials such as metal beam girders, reinforced concrete decking, and wood railing - this bridge was accessible to public on the week of 7/29/2019. The project is in punch list. |
