| Description: The goal of this traffic signal retrofit battery backup project is to help facilitate the evacuation process and the movement of traffic when a power outage occurs. A battery backup system can work more than 4 hours following an outage at a traffic signal. The City plans to outfit approximately 175 existing traffic signals with a battery backup system through this project. | |
