Description: This project will remove and replace fire damaged irrigation components within City right of way in the Coffey Park and Fountaingrove neighborhoods.

December 2021: Slated to go out to bid on the week of December 20, 2021.

October 2021 Project Update: In May 2021, the City was awarded approximately $34M in Federal Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. Since award of this funding, staff has been working to determine eligibility of several City projects to receive CDBG funding, the Fire Damaged Roadway Landscaping project included. Project design is complete, however due to grant funding requirements, the City needed to determine if the project was eligible before bidding the contract. While staff found this project is not eligible for CDBG funding, it is still eligible for a mix of FEMA Disaster Recovery funding and City local match funds.

Project bid release is expect November 2021 with construction activities anticipated to begin Spring 2022. The overall duration will last approximately 50 weeks (weather dependent).
