| Description: Project will install a four-way traffic signal, with 2 traffic poles with mast arms, 6 signal traffic pole, Opticom (video cameras) on all four approaches, pedestrian crossings on the south and east legs, lane striping, advanced loop detection east and west of the intersection on Hearn Ave. A proposed traffic signal will increase the traffic handling capacity of the intersection and will improve the safety & efficiency of both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The project will improve access to Southwest Park for pedestrians and vehicles. | |
