Sam Jones Hall Emergency Shelter

Estimated Construction Schedule: Slated to begin September, 2020 and is anticipated to be completed January, 2021.
Construction Contract Amount: $2,729,200

Description: Installation of an expedited emergency shelter building constructed in the rear parking lot, expected to be about 8,000 square feet. Additional improvements to support the building include foundation, electrical service, heating and air conditioning, fire sprinklers, security cameras, and accessibility. Improvements will be limited to the existing paved areas.

Sam Jones Hall Emergency Shelter-Almost Complete: The emergency shelter has been installed and construction activities are almost complete on the project. Construction expected to remain during the week days. Little impact to traffic in the area is expected from this project.
