Hearn Community Hub - Phase 1

Description: The City has acquired an approximately 6-acre property at 976, 980 and 1004 Hearn Avenue for the Hearn Community Hub - Fire Station, Library, Cultural Center, Aquatic Center, Dutton Avenue Extension and Multi-use path. Project funding has required the project be phased. Phase 1 will include site improvements, the Fire Station and the Multicultural Library.

Construction to start soon: We are expecting permits to be completed and initial ground disturbance and grading construction to start at the end of September 2025. Work will be between the hours of 7am to 7pm and not impact any services to the neighbors.

Please be cautious and expect short term delays when traveling on Hearn Avenue as there are several construction efforts in the area.
