Description:
This project will renovate the park and trail. The scope of the project is based on the priorities of the community determined through the master plan process, including a children's play area and picnic area, a full-sized turf athletic field with lighting, basketball court, futsal court, restrooms, pathways, public art, site furnishings including waste receptacles, water fountains, benches, picnic tables, lighting, park monument signs, reconstruction of the adjacent paved path including new paving and lighting, and raised crosswalks at Milton and Frazier to provide safer access into the park from the neighborhood and to slow traffic on Temple Ave.
Design-Builder Request for Proposals: The City has prequalified 3 Design-Build teams that will be invited to participate in the Request for Proposals process to select a Design-Builder to design and construct the park. A recommendation to award a contract is expected to be presented to City Council for their consideration in Fall 2026.
