Description:
This project will renovate the park and trail. The scope of the project is based on the priorities of the community determined through the master plan process, including a children's play area and picnic area, a full-sized turf athletic field with lighting, basketball court, futsal court, restrooms, pathways, public art, site furnishings including waste receptacles, water fountains, benches, picnic tables, lighting, park monument signs, and reconstruction of the adjacent paved path including new concrete flatwork, lighting, and a seamless transition between the trail and park.
The request for Design-Builder Statements of Qualifications is open on PlanetBids: The City is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Design-Build teams for the park renovation. This is the first step in a two-step process to select the Design Builder for the project’s design and construction. The Request for Proposals will follow for only the top qualified applicants from this initial phase. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is posted to the City’s PlanetBids portal, which may be accessed by selecting the “Bid/Proposal Opportunities” link on the City’s website at https://www.srcity.org/165/Bids-Proposals . All SOQs must be submitted through PlanetBids by April 23, 2026, before 4:00 p.m. |
