Roseland Pavement Maintenance

Estimated Construction Schedule: Slated to begin August, 2019 and is anticipated to be completed September, 2019.

Description: To share in the City's transportation infrastructure costs for the Roseland annexation, the County will provide funding of $6.62M over a 10-year period (Transportation Payment") to cover pavement improvement costs in the Roseland annexation area which may include asphalt paved walkways on the shoulders and required ADA upgrades.

Construction Update Image

Current Activity {September 2019}: On the week of September 3, the contractor will start its reconstruction operation. Street parking during the construction will be prohibited. The streets will be closed for thru traffic except for the in/out driveway access, delivery, and garbage services. Depending on the ambient temperature and traffic condition, this work may last one whole week.

Project Limits (June 2019): The current project limits have been reduced as a result from the increasing cost in the construction industry. The affected streets are Westland Dr from Hearn Ave to the end & Gloria Dr from Westland Dr to Westwood Dr. These streets will be part of next overlay.
