Finley Aquatic Center Spray Ground and Renovation Project

Description: A major upgrade to Finley Aquatic Center including the demolition of the existing wading pool and construction of a new, modern spray ground, new and expanded picnic areas, and upgrades to the pool deck to replace areas in disrepair to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Finley Aquatic Center will be closed during construction to avoid impacts to popular summer swim programs at the facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2023 with completion in May 2024.

August 30, 2024: Refinished pools and pool deck open for 2024 summer programs! Spray Ground construction will continue and open later this summer. A temporary fence has been installed to safely separate the two areas while work continues. Construction beyond continues: Site grading and landscape concrete work is current. The new mechanical building foundation and cistern walls complete. Next up: New mechanical building floor slab and above to be constructed. Spray ground to be installed.
