Capital Improvement Project

September 2024: This project has been awarded to Ghilotti Brothers. The slated construction will start on Monday, September 9, 2024. A total 33 curb ramps will be upgraded to the current ADA standards. Approximately 2 miles of residental streets will be cape sealed. A cape seal is a two-steps preventive pavement maintenance in which the selected pavement surface is laid with chip seal and topped with slurry seal. Once cured, all new striping will be reinstated to their original configurations. This project will last approximately 8-10 weeks.

Construction Schedule: The schedule is presented in 3 separate parts such that "1_Construction_Schedule" shows the overall construction activities. "2_Chip_Seal_Schedule" shows the first of the two-step cape seal process that requires road closure. "3_Slurry_Seal_Schedule" shows the second of the two-step cape seal process which also requires road closure.
